Woke up early for me this morning. Dog duty, walk, fed and medicate Dusty for the very fast run to Deer Harbor from Friday Harbor.

The crew wiped down the rain from the windows and cabin, filled water and pumped the holding tannk. Ed made breakfast. Where is that griddle? I know it came to the boat, or is it in the Jeep at home?
The boat ready to go,I took the dogs went the final walk in Friday Harbor
Ed started the generator and the Seakeeper gyro stabilizer and turned on the heat units in the boat. It wasn't that cold but it was a damp cold that fogs the windshield and penetrates to the bone. The heat was well received.
Once in Harbor, we met with Bob Lindal to down load the next competition on to Ed's computer, frustrated, we went for a pot luck of heavy appetizers. During the appetizers, Bob L let us know how we did for the first competition. Leg one was ...shall we say, why bother! Leg two, we took third out of four. Overall, we sucked!
After heavy appetizers, Stever and I took the dogs for a walk. When Stever and I came back from walking our now sandy Golden Retrieves, we found the Bob L and Jim A in the boat. I was the Garmin route god. I couldn't remember how I did it, but with Bob L's help, I figured out how to plot a route, name that route and save it.
Tomorrow, Canada!
PS: The griddle is under the sink, all the way forwardI
