ON BOARD FOR THE ADVENTURE, MAYBE...

Good evening friends and family. I hope WIX doesn't suspend or terminate my blog because of some technical glitch. Keep your fingers crossed.

The crew is all onboard now, literally. As you know, we splashed Magic Carpet two days ago. The final members of our Crew arrived yesterday from Connecticut and today from Oregon. They all are settled in and we are anticipating a great adventure as we head north to Alaska.

Our crew consist of; Ed, and me, George as owners of Magic Carpet: Jim, Ed's Uncle from Connecticut; Lynne a friend and former member of member of the Port Orchard Yacht Club; Stever a friend whom we have known since our days in Stockton California and Ballena Isle Marina in Alameda California; Not to be forgotten our two Golden Retriever dogs Dusty, 2 years and 3 months old, and Luna, 11 months old.

Tomorrow we bid adieu to our current home for our Absolute Navetta 52 and head to Eagle Harbor located in Bainbridge Island, via Port Orchard Marina for loading on fuel, where we will rendezvous with several of the other boats in the fleet bound for Alaska.
