Out of the Fry Pan

We set out to Fry Pan this morning much later than our usual start time of 5 am for a run. It was an uneventful crossing until whomever was driving the boat did a Crazy Ivan maneuver and sped up rapidly. I was below with the dogs, Dusty still doesn't like the sounds of the engines and the rocking of the boat. Turns out we had to dodge a BC Ferry.
We arrived to our anchorage in Pruth Bay unscathed. The anchorage is in a Preserve. There is a research facility, Pruth Bay Research Institue on Calvert Island Nature Conservancy. Apparently a beach on the Pacific side of the island. I'll have to take the word of others for it as I went back to bed, feeling under the weather. I am sure it will pass.
Dinner last night, Dungeness Crab, White Goulash and Pears. Lunch today, Spaghetti, Pineapple. Dinner this evening Ribs, Potatoes Au Gratin and Root Fruit mix.
