We really enjoyed our stay at the Lagoon Cove Marina. The owners are a young couple from Minnesota. They bought the dock a few years ago and have been working hard to improve it. Water pressure is best at low tide. Showers cost. There are bird nesting boxes on post along the pier. The old house is being replaced, it seems by a new home on the water. There are trails that are clearly marked and Stever took advantange of one to Blow Hole. He played his music loudly to announce to the critters of the forest he was present and walking.

Three boats from the flotilla arrived. To Lagoon Cove today and some of use will move to another marina or stay. All of us are concerned about the weather forecast for Cape Caution.

The weather is dominated by low presssure systems in the Gulfo de Alaska and this gives rise to lumpy sea and moderate winds. So, tonight we pored over all materials at hand to determine what next. At present it seems we will do our Predicted Log, hangout for a day in Sullivan Bay and then brave the waters of Johnstone Strait. Our goal on the day we depart from Sullivan Bay is Brahman Island. We can duck in behind the island and into the bays and coves until the weather improvesl

Once passed Cape Caution,so appropriately named, we will be navigating towards Alaska in protected waters.

The dogs need to learn to use the pee patch we have for them. Where we will be going to ride out the weather has no moorage so we will have to anchor our and as you may recall, we are having battery issues in the tender.

I added some pictures to the previous post, so you may want to pay them a visit again. I also spell checked myself.

Well, the bed beckons. More mañana. Chuss!
